All of the days are at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, Oxford.
Each day has a similar format though the order will vary:
1-2 Keynote presentations from subject matter experts, the focus will always be on pragmatic knowledge, applicable to ED practice.
Critical Appraisal of a relevant EM publication
1-2 OSCE style seminars - these are totally formative and enable revision of less commonly performed assessments.
Clinical skill - this could be anything relevant to EM practice such as plaster application, chest drain insertion, IO placement, slit lamp examination, Emergency ultrasound.
Networking and open forum - an opportunity to discuss and share experiences, challenges and successes.
